Genuine WW1 British memorial scroll as given to the next of kin of fatalities.
The one was given to the family of;
Pte Charles Thomas Chambers of the East Kent Regt (The Buffs).
Charles was born on the 30th January 1897 in Chart Sutton, Maidstone and served as a private in the British Army with The Buffs (East Kent Regiment), 1/5th Battalion. He was sadly killed in action on the 7th July 1916 at Sheikh Saad battlefield.
